Founding her first company ‘DimePiece’ at the age of 21 while attaining her BA in Fine Arts and Fashion from Cal State University of Los Angeles, Ashley LaBarrie took her vision with a loan of $1,400 to a global six-figure wholesale and retail apparel business. With an international cult following of some of the industry’s leading tastemakers, her brand became one of the only women-owned and operated preeminent brands for women’s streetwear from 2007-2019, for which Complex named the “Ten Pioneering Women’s Streetwear Brands” in 2021.

With an expansive array of projects under her entrepreneurial umbrella, from international design trademarks to selling to 700+ retail stores worldwide, and designing a concept store in Downtown Los Angeles, Ashley La Barrie’s breadth of inspiration and multi-hyphenated accomplishments has firmly displayed her abilities in entrepreneurship through an arrayed presentation of uninhibited feminine power, and leading-edge style.

Over the course of her ever-evolving career, her brand work has been featured by prominent players in the world of arts and entertainment such as Vogue Business, Vogue.com, Elle.com, Elle Canada and Japan, Huff Post, MTV Style, MTV UK, NYFW, OK! Magazine and ‘Let Girls Learn’ campaign with Michelle Obama; along with partnerships with Beats by Dre, and AllModern.com. Ashley’s apparel has been adorned by style authorities like Rihanna, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Zendaya, Shay Mitchell, P!nk, Vanessa Hudgens, Katy Perry, SZA, Cara Delevingne, Miley Cyrus, Hailey Baldwin and Missy Elliot.

In 2020, while continuing to follow her visions with focused application, Ashley co-founded Manifest Grp., a design and large-scale manufacturing firm as an extension of her apparel career; and for the second time, built the business to six-figures within its first year. In 2020 she established her first self-titled brand and newfound LA studio from her long-time passion for interiors, Ashley La Barrie Interiors.

A culmination of her inner and outer work, Ashley LaBarrie Interiors encompasses an ethos of design with deeper purpose, an approach that demonstrates the vital connection between design and well-being that is mirrored by her own personal health and wellness journey. Spiritual undertones and the use of toxin-free materials are woven throughout her interior work with a mindful focus on design that can shift energy and transform the human state. In only a short span of time, her interior work has been featured in Apartment Therapy on three occasions and noted as one of the “Top Ten Home Tours of All Time”, featured in Origin Magazine and Dunn Edwards Paint 2020 Color of the Year campaign. Today, Ashley has worked alongside some of the most prevalent forces within a broad range of creative industries to solidify a strong grounding for women’s role in business.

Ashley resides in Los Angeles with her partner, muralist and artist James Haunt, and their two dogs, Guru and Aura.
